Snow Returns to the Andes!!!

  After a few weeks of little snowfall in the Andes, there is a good chance of snow throughout the week. Cerro Castor down at the southern tip of Argentina is currently having one of their best seasons in 10 years or more.  Temperatures have remained cold there since about the first week of May

Opening Day Today in Las Lenas

  Wow, what an opening day today as the next storm is currently affecting Las Lenas and the rest of the Andean ski resorts.  Las Lenas kicked off their season today with 60 cms at the base (2 feet), 1.3 Meters mid mountain (4 Feet), and 2 meters up on top of Martes (6 feet)!!!!
