ABOUT THE RESORT
St. Anton am Arlberg, often called the “cradle of Alpine skiing,” is a premier Austrian resort renowned for its challenging terrain, legendary nightlife, and deep-rooted skiing history. As part of the vast Ski Arlberg region – Austria’s largest interconnected ski area – it offers over 300 km of groomed runs and 200 km of varied terrain, making it a paradise for expert and intermediate skiers alike.

THE MOUNTAIN
The mountain offers dramatic scenery and challenging skiing, with high-speed, modern lifts providing quick access to high-altitude slopes (summit 2,811m). Known for its steep descents and extensive off-piste opportunities, it is a haven for serious, confident skiers and snowboarders. The area also offers excellent freestyle facilities, including the Stanton Snow Park at Rendl. While known for its difficulty, dedicated beginner zones and reputable ski schools ensure skiers of all levels are accommodated.
ACCOMMODATIONS & CUISINE
St. Anton’s accommodation ranges from luxurious, boutique hotels and traditional Tyrolean chalets to budget-friendly, cozy pensions and apartments, many with convenient access to the lift stations. The village itself is picturesque and largely pedestrianized, maintaining a classic Alpine charm. Dining options are equally diverse, featuring over 70 establishments, ranging from refined mountain huts with scenic views (such as the Verwallstube) to excellent local and international cuisine in town.
NIGHTLIFE
St. Anton is widely regarded as having some of the best après-ski in the world. The fun kicks off early, often right on the slopes at famous venues like the Mooserwirt or Krazy Kanguruh, where table dancing is common, before moving into town for a wide variety of bars and clubs that continue until the early hours.
PERKS
Beyond skiing, the resort offers exceptional leisure facilities, most notably the Arlberg Wellcom center, which includes indoor/outdoor swimming pools, a wellness area, and a gym. Other popular activities include ice skating, curling, bowling, paragliding, and a 4.2 km toboggan run. Its excellent transport links, including a train station in the town center, make it easily reachable from Zurich and Innsbruck.
