    ABOUT THE RESORT

Crans-Montana is a sun-drenched Swiss resort with two centers and two vibes, perched on a south-facing plateau at 1,500m. We think, and you can agree, what makes Crans-Montana special is the panoramic view. A range of 18 peaks above 4000m which includes the iconic Matterhorn and the majestic Mont Blanc. It’s unique in the Alps.

The resort is known for its sunny, open bowls and extensive snow-making, with high-capacity, modern lifts minimizing wait time.

    WHY CRANS-MONTANA?

    • Spectacular 180° view of the Alps.
    • Gorgeous sunny slopes.
    • Vertical drop of 1500 m.
    • Site of the Alpine Skiing World Championships in 2027.
    • Awe-inspiring nature & wildlife.
    • Glacier guarantees snow.
    • Rich cultural & gastronomic offers.
    • Vibrant village.

    THE MOUNTAIN

The ski domain offers 140km of pistes ranging from 1,500m to 3,000m at the Plaine Morte Glacier. It is particularly well-suited for intermediates with its wide, sunny red and blue runs, though it also features the legendary 8km-long Piste Nationale for experts. There are 2 official FIS Downhill tracks.

    ACCOMMODATIONS & CUISINE

There is a wide range of accommodation ranging from many good value quality hotels through to  luxury five-star hotels. The dining scene is equally prestigious, with over 90 restaurants ranging from traditional Swiss huts like Le Mayen (famous for fondue and raclette) to Michelin-starred establishments such as L’Ours and Le Mont Blanc.

    NIGHTLIFE

Night bars, centered around stylish piano bars, clubs and a casino. A major perk of the resort is its extensive shopping, hosting over 150 shops and earning it a reputation as a premiere Alpine shopping destination.

    PERKS

Unlike smaller villages, Crans-Montana feels like a city, offering shopping, numerous 5-star hotels, a casino, and a Michelin-starred dining scene.

It offers extensive nursery slopes on the plateau, along with a modern, efficient, and recently upgraded lift system, including the Cry d’Er gondola. There is the ski learning proposal on the golf course in winter (a magic carpet and 2 drag lifts) as well as the Snow island dedicated to family fun.

It hosts one of the best snowparks in French-speaking Switzerland, complete with a boardercross, slopestyle jumps, and the only Olympic superpipe in the Valais Alps.
