THE MOUNTAINS

Banff Area Ski Resort PackagesBanff Sunshine Resort is located 20 minutes from the town of Banff and home to some of the fluffiest snow found anywhere!  The terrain at Sunshine is quite diverse and has everything from long cruisers to wide open bowls, steep chutes, and beautiful glades. Sunshine Village is known for its high-alpine, incredibly challenging terrain, including the renowned Delirium Dive, and long season.

Banff Area Ski Resort PackagesLake Louise Resort is located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies and 2 hours from Calgary.  With 4,200 skiable acres, Lake Louise is the biggest resort in the Canadian Rockies and one of the largest in North America.  The terrain variety is incredible with over 145 runs, plus the legendary back bowls! Lake Louise is famous for its breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding glaciers, offering extensive terrain for all skill levels.

Banff Area Ski Resort PackagesMt. Norquay Resort is located 10 minutes outside of Banff, 1 hour from Calgary, and inside the beautiful Banff National Park.  Mt. Norquay opened the mountain in 1926 and is a family friendly resort that has enjoyable terrain for all ability levels. Mt. Norquay is a smaller, local-favorite mountain ideal for warm-up days or bad weather due to its tree-lined slopes.

Banff Area Ski Resort PackagesACCOMMODATION & CUISINE

Most visitors stay in the vibrant town of Banff, which has a wide variety of hotels, lodges, and condo-style suites to suit all budgets. The only true ski-in/ski-out lodging is the Sunshine Mountain Lodge at Sunshine Village, while the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise offers a luxury stay with views of the frozen lake. Dining options are extensive, with over 130 restaurants, cafes, and pubs in Banff alone, ranging from casual diners and pizzerias to fine dining experiences offering local delicacies like bison burgers and elk steak.

Banff Area Ski Resort PackagesNIGHTLIFE

The town of Banff is known for its lively and vibrant atmosphere after the lifts close. While on-mountain après-ski is minimal (except for the bars at the top of the Sunshine gondola), the town comes alive with numerous pubs, lively bars, and nightclubs. Options range from relaxed pubs and martini lounges to western-style saloons with live music or line dancing. The scene caters to a diverse crowd and stays active into the late hours, providing a true “big city” nightlife experience in a charming mountain setting.

Banff Area Ski Resort PackagesPERKS

A key perk of skiing in the Banff area is the location within a UNESCO World Heritage site, offering unparalleled natural beauty and the chance to spot rare wildlife like elk and bighorn sheep. An interchangeable lift ticket often includes access to a free shuttle-bus system between the town and the three ski areas, as well as admission to the historic Banff Upper Hot Springs, perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. Off-slope activities are abundant, including snowshoeing, ice canyon walking, dog sledding, ice skating, and shopping at unique local boutiques and galleries. The area is also part of the Mountain Collective pass program, providing additional value for frequent skiers.
