- Ski Season
November – June
Destination: California
Availability: November – June
If you’re looking for a winter experience in California’s Lake Tahoe area, visit Palisades Tahoe. The resort is located on Tahoe’s North shore, in the Olympic Valley, and offer breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Palisades Tahoe (formerly known as Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows) became one massive resort in 2012 and can now be skied/snowboarded with the same lift pass. Each resort has something different to offer and being able to ski from one resort to the other saves times and allows you to maximize vertical feet skied each day!
Flight into Reno-Tahoe International Airport, then a 50-minute transfer to the resort (48 miles/77 kms).
