Victorian architecture and friendly locals gives Breck its warm, energetic vibe. The historic Main Street has an abundance of shops, restaurants, nightlife, full-service spas, and recreation for all ages, from youngsters to grandparents. The town also has its place in pop culture, as it was the setting for the classic comedy film with Chevy Chase, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.

Breck has an excellent range of skiable terrain, from beginner cruisers to majestic high alpine chutes, bowls, and perfectly spaced glades. With four award-winning terrain parks, an 18 foot halfpipe, 5 mountain peaks, and the highest-lift serviced terrain in North America, it is no surprise that Breckenridge is a true Colorado gem.

5 PEAKS OF BRECKENRIDGE

Peak 7

Town In Breckenridge, CO.

Peak 8

Peak 8 is located in the heart of the resort and a good place to start the day. This area has something for everyone, from first-time skiers to seasoned experts. Peak 8 is also home to the highest chair lift in North America, mountain coaster, 3 restaurants, and a kid friendly adventure zone that meanders through the forest.

Peak 9

Peak 9 has some of the gentlest terrain in Breckenridge and is ideal for skiers and snowboarders learning how to carve.  With wide open trails and easy access from the center of town, this makes this area the perfect place to learn new skills or fine tune those recently learned.  Peak 9 also holds the respect of expert level riders with some of the most challenging terrain found at Breckenridge.  Intermediate skiers/boarders also enjoy Peak 9, as they lay down turns on wide-open piste runs.

Peak 10

Peak 10 is the place to be for advanced/expert level riders that enjoy steep corduroy and going fast!  Some fun runs to check out are Cimarron, Crystal, Centennial, and Double Jack.  The sides of the trails here typically hold soft snow all day long, so don’t forget Peak 10 when seeking out the goods.

TERRAIN PARKS

Freeway

Freeway is where the pros like to be!  This terrain park is home to 4 huge jumps, a plethora of rails and boxes, and a 18 foot halfpipe. Freeway is a great spot for snowboarders and skiers looking for big air time, spins, or those wanting to see athletes rocketing out of the pipe.

Park Lane

Park Lane is known as the local’s park, which has two triple lines and plenty of rails, boxes, and jibs to keep you smiling all day!  If you want a clear view of the park, ride Chair 5 and watch in awe as these locals put on a show.

Highway 9

Highway 9 is located on Peak 9 and is the go-to entry level terrain park. This is the perfect place to work on your spins and slides, as there are small jumps, rails, and boxes.  Start here and gradually work your way up to the bigger jumps at the other terrain parks.

Frontier

Located on Peak 9, Frontier is a small park and similar in size to Bonanza. Frontier has a good combination of medium size jumps and boxes to help fine tune those skills already learned.
