#TravelTipsTuesday: Organizing your Bag on the Cheap

2016-02-02

Most of us are not type-A organizers so we just stuff everything in a bag and head for the airport. Next time you travel take a crack at getting organized—or at the very least, separating your dirty socks from your clean underwear. Get yourself a set of travel cubes. These little sacs can help you turn your suitcase into a mini dresser/closet. Although organization doesn’t come cheap—think $10-20 a cube—you’ll be happy when you can find your favorite t-shirt without having to pull everything out of your bag.

For those of you seeking a more economical alternative Zip-Loc bags make great luggage organizers. We like the 1 gallon & 2 gallon sizes. They’re perfect for organizing clothes as well as toiletries. You can see exactly whats inside so there is no guess work. It also keeps your wet swimsuit away from your dry stuff in between hotels. Best of all, you can squeeze all the air out of them to make more room in you luggage.

Note: Frequent travelers really should opt for the travel cubes. They’re a little more money but they’re much better for the environment because they can be reused and won’t add to your carbon footprint. We’re all for the environment  at #EndlessTurns.com
