The Gran Catedral Ski Resort, located in Bariloche-Argentina, opens tomorrow (July 16th)!!!  With the eruption of Chile’s Puyehue Volcano back on June 4th, the airport in Bariloche has been closed since June 4th and the lack of snow didn’t help matters, but we are now very pleased to announce that it has been snowing in the Northern Lakes Region of Patagonia intensely over the past 48 hours!  There is more snow in the forecast through tomorrow, which will certainly help building the snow bases in the region.  Cold temperatures are also allowing for lots of snow-making in the lower elevations of the resort.
