Getting to Revelstoke is an adventure in itself, as you pass through lush forests, deep valleys, and are surrounded by lofty peaks just begging to be skied. The resort village is small but offers direct ski access and a shuttle service to the authentic, vibrant town of Revelstoke, which provides diverse options for accommodation, dining, and nightlife.
Revelstoke is the place to be if you are an off-piste aficionado that loves riding deep powder day after day. Famous for having North America’s greatest lift-served vertical drop and abundant powder snow. Then kick back with the locals over some tasty micro brews! Endless Turns will take care of your travel arrangements and you can focus on updating your Bucket List!

THE MOUNTAIN
Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) boasts a lift-served vertical drop of 1,713 meters (5,620 feet), the largest in North America, with a top elevation of 2,200 meters. The terrain covers over 3,121 acres and 75 named runs, which are largely geared toward intermediate (43%) and advanced/expert (45%) skiers and snowboarders. The mountain is known for its deep, reliable annual snowfall (averaging 10.5 meters/410 inches) and features majestic alpine bowls, legendary tree skiing, and long, rolling groomers. The longest run, “The Last Spike,” spans an impressive 15.2 km (9.4 mi).
The town of Revelstoke also has a lot of charm and with 120 years of skiing history, it’s no wonder the locals are proud to call this home. Revelstoke Mountain has big mountain terrain with small town vibes, making it the perfect spot for a winter ski holiday. Revelstoke also receives the most consistent snowfall of any Canadian resort and holds the record for the most snowfall in one winter, at 80 feet (24.3 meters).
ACCOMMODATION & CUISINE
The primary on-mountain accommodation is The Sutton Place HoteL, a luxury, ski-in/ski-out condo-style hotel offering premium amenities and stunning views. The resort village also features a few dining options like the full-service Rockford Bar & Grill and the Mackenzie Common Tavern. Many more lodging and dining options, from budget hostels to boutique hotels and vacation rentals, are available in the charming and authentic downtown Revelstoke, just a short drive or shuttle ride away. Downtown dining options are diverse, ranging from casual pubs and bakeries, such as The Village Idiot and La Baguette, to upscale restaurants offering Japanese cuisine, steaks, and locally sourced Canadian fare.
NIGHTLIFE
Nightlife at the immediate resort base is low-key, centering on après-ski drinks and meals at places like the Rockford Bar & Grill. The more vibrant nightlife scene is found in downtown Revelstoke, which has a range of lively pubs, bars that turn into quasi-nightclubs, and cocktail lounges, including the River City Pub and Monashee Spirits craft distillery.
PERKS
The main perks of Revelstoke are its exceptional snow quality and challenging, uncrowded terrain. Beyond the lift-served area, the resort offers exclusive access to extensive cat-skiing and heli-skiing terrain, a major draw for powder enthusiasts. The resort also offers non-skiing activities like a mountain coaster, a snow tubing area, and access to the local aquatic centre with pools and hot tubs, which can be a valuable family perk.
