ABOUT THE RESORT
Welcome to the Andes Mountains of Chile! Let Endless Turns arrange your all-inclusive ski and snowboarding package to El Colorado and La Parva Resorts, which are located 1.5 hours from Santiago. For skiing either resort you have the choice of staying in Valle Nevado, La Parva, or El Colorado.
All three resorts offer wonderful Chilean hospitality, as well as some tremendous cuisine, wine, and a quaint European-like feel, but Valle Nevado has the largest selection of lodging in the area.
SKI SEASON

At La Parva the ski season runs from June to late September, but best snow conditions are from July though September. August sees some of the biggest storms of the season and the powder stays good, as the sun is not very strong yet. In late August and September one can find great powder on those South facing aspects (since you are in the Southern Hemisphere) and beautiful corn snow on north facing slopes.
THE MOUNTAIN

La Parva sits at a base elevation of 2,670 meters (8,760 feet) with a summit elevation of around 3,630 meters (11,910 feet), offering a substantial vertical drop of over 900 meters (3,000 feet). The terrain covers approximately 400-800 hectares (988-1977 acres) and is best suited for intermediate and expert skiers, with a variety of blue, red, and black diamond runs. The resort provides access to challenging in-bounds terrain, including couloirs like “La Chimenea,” and extensive backcountry areas, including heli-skiing options. It is part of the Tres Valles ski area. Skiing from La Parva to the resorts of El Colorado and Valle Nevado is quite good and truly provides you with the European ski idea of connecting multi-resorts.
ACCOMMODATION & CUISINE

Accommodation at La Parva is primarily offered in the form of private apartments, condos, and chalets, many of which provide convenient ski-in/ski-out access. There are generally no traditional hotels within the village itself, so visitors often rent self-catering units and stock up on groceries in Santiago. La Parva’s lodging is geared towards families and groups of friends.
On-site dining options include a handful of restaurants serving international cuisine, such as the fondue-specializing La Marmita de Pericles, informal slopeside snack bars like Olimpico, and the high-altitude Restaurant 3.100, all offering impressive mountain and Santiago valley views. Just about ever type of cuisine can be found here, from tender carne (steak) to an excellent selection of seafood dishes to pizzas and pastas.
NIGHTLIFE
The village of La Parva is quite a charming Andean village that is composed of old wooden homes and chalets. Even though La Parva is small and caters to families, there are plenty of good restaurants to choose from, pubs, and discotheque.
