It is a premier destination, especially for advanced skiers, offering a unique blend of rugged wilderness and modern amenities.

The Tetons are a steep and jagged mountain range well known for mountaineering, extreme skiing, and two beautiful national parks, Grand Teton & Yellowstone. Grand Teton National Park is located at the base of the Tetons, only 10 minutes from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Yellowstone National Park is approximately 1 hour northeast of Teton Village.

Jackson Hole is a remarkable destination, so kick back and let Endless Turns plan your perfect winter adventure!

    THE MOUNTAIN

Jackson Hole boasts 2,500 acres of in-bounds skiable terrain with an impressive continuous vertical drop of 4,139 feet. The mountain is famous for its steep chutes, expansive bowls, and tree runs, including the legendary expert run Corbet’s Couloir, which requires a mandatory drop-in. The terrain is roughly 50% expert, 40% intermediate, and 10% beginner, ensuring a thrilling experience primarily for confident skiers. The resort features 13 lifts, including the iconic 100-person Aerial Tram (“Big Red”) that whisks skiers to the 10,450-foot summit in just nine minutes. With 133 designated runs, 2 terrain parks and 459 inches of annual snowfall, it is no wonder why Jackson is a must return to destination for most skiers and snowboarders. The resort averages a significant 424 inches of annual snowfall, ensuring excellent powder conditions.

Jackson also has an open backcountry gate system with over 3000 acres of terrain, which is easily accessible for backcountry ski touring and ski mountaineering. While Jackson has some excellent intermediate terrain, the mountain is known as the steep and deep playground for advanced and expert level riders.

    ACCOMMODATION & CUISINE

Lodging options are available in two primary locations: Teton Village (at the mountain’s base) and the town of Jackson (a 20-minute drive away). Teton Village offers convenient ski-in/ski-out access and a range of hotels and condos, from luxury resorts like the Four Seasons to more standard options. The town of Jackson provides a wider variety of accommodation, shops, and a vibrant Western atmosphere.

Dining is a diverse experience, from hearty mountain fare to upscale, farm-to-table restaurants. On-mountain options include the famous gourmet waffles at Corbet’s Cabin at the summit, and Piste Mountain Bistro with its panoramic views. In the village and town, establishments like the Mangy Moose Saloon offer lively, eclectic dining, while the Snake River Grill provides a fine dining experience.

    NIGHTLIFE

Nightlife in Teton Village is generally more relaxed, centered around après-ski spots like The Spur and The Handle Bar, which offer a cozy atmosphere and local brews. The town of Jackson provides a more energetic scene, with highlights including the iconic Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, known for its saddle barstools and live music.

    PERKS

Unique perks of Jackson Hole include access to over 3,000 acres of patrolled backcountry terrain through an open gate system (requiring proper safety equipment and expertise). The resort’s proximity to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks allows for memorable non-skiing activities such as wildlife tours, snowshoeing, or sleigh rides among wintering elk herds. The resort also offers family-friendly amenities like the Kids Ranch childcare program and a tubing park.
