ABOUT THE RESORT
Kiroro Snow World Resort is located on the northern island of Hokkaido in Japan and is the perfect resort for those looking to enjoy high-quality leisure activities, including world renown skiing and snowboarding. Its appeal lies in its uncompromising standards, heartfelt hospitality, and hideaway-like atmosphere. Kiroro is home to some of the deepest snow in the world, with a small mountain village feel and a very warm welcome from its’ local residents.

ACCOMMODATIONS & CUISINE
Enjoy the luxury of ski-in, ski-out accommodations in the Kiroro ski village, from hotel guest rooms to fully equipped condominiums. Experience local Japanese architecture with a modern style, which provides a comfortable stay during your ski holiday. Kiroro offers a wide-range of cuisine, from handmade ramen and soba noodles to exquisite sushi, Chinese dishes, Belgian delicacies, and speciality pizzas. There is also an alpine bistro that takes pride in serving up local and seasonal ingredients with Hokkaido traditions.

THE MOUNTAIN
Surrounded by two mountains and blessed with pure, dry powder snow, Kiroro Snow World offers slopes that can be enjoyed by everyone, from beginners to advanced skiers and snowboarders.
There is an immense variety of terrain spread across two mountains, Asari and Nagamine. The Kirogo Dora run is 3,300 meters long, there are 23 pistes with the longest spanning 4,050 meters, and
5 areas of blissful powder tree skiing!

THE SNOW
With an average of 21 meters of annual snowfall (approximately 69 feet), Kiroro is the ultimate playground for powder hounds! Kiroro has the perfect location off the Sea of Japan and an abundance of cold air filtering in from Siberia. This creates nonstop snowfall all winter, delivering massive dumps of some of the driest powder on earth! The high-quality snow remains excellent for skiing and snowboarding well into spring.

ACTIVITIES
At Kiroro Resort there are many wonderful activities to enjoy on days from skiing and snowboarding. These include a children’s snow park for sledding and tubing, Snow Banana Boat, snow rafting, snow buggy, snowmobiling, and a Sherpa Forest tour. Kiroro also offers very good access to Otaru village, which is known for its historical buildings, canals, glasswork, music boxes, and sake. We can also arrange for you to visit a very well known Japanese whiskey distillery, Onsens (hot springs), and experience traditional Japanese cooking classes.

PERKS
One of the perks of skiing and travelling in Japan is enjoying the wonderful Onsens (hot springs). The hot water comes from underground at the base of Mt. Yotei. Soaking in an Onsen is the perfect way to finish a ski day and the therapeutic waters are perfect for soothing leg and back muscles.
