    ABOUT THE RESORT

Sun Valley Resort is located in Blaine County, Idaho and known for its sun-kissed slopes and cloudless skies. The resort has two mountains, Bald & Dollar and opened to the public in the winter of 1936.

Boasting pitch-perfect vertical from top to bottom, Bald Mountain has no flat areas, nothing but downhill. With virtually no lift lines, there’s plenty of time to make as many turns as your legs will allow. With the sun shining 80 percent of the year, it’s no wonder how the resort got its name! With runs ranging from expert to beginner, groomers to powder glades, Baldy is a mountain for people who like to go down, no matter how fast or what is strapped to their feet.

Dollar Mountain is the place to learn how to ski. This mountain is home to the world’s first chairlift and now has a terrain park with 76 rails, beginner-friendly slopes, five lifts, and 628 feet of vertical. Every snow lover, no matter their skill level, will find something on this mountain to put a smile on their face, as they leave fresh tracks behind them in the snow.

    ABOUT THE RESORT
