SKI SEASON

Mid-June to October is the best time for reliable snow. The last two weeks of July can be very crowded with South American school holidays. August has some of the biggest storms of the season and the powder stays good, since the sun is not very strong yet. Late August and September can be a mix between winter and spring conditions, which please powder hounds and corn snow aficionados.

THE MOUNTAIN

The Cerro Catedral Resort has a wide variety of terrain to suit all ability levels. The upper mountain has wide-open bowls, chutes, mogul runs, and groomers, all being above timberline. Mid mountain down into the village offers delightful tree skiing, groomers, and plenty of bumps once you powder gets skied up. Catedral offers some of the best terrain for all ability levels in Argentina.

ACCOMMODATIONS & CUISINE

The base Village of Cerro Catedral has 4 and 5-star ski-in, ski-out accommodations, as well as a few 3-star options. If you would prefer to be in a more lively area, then Endless Turns recommends that you stay 20 minutes away in the City of Bariloche (which is actually more of a large village then a very small city). In Bariloche we can offer you accommodations in hotels, cabanas, bungalows, and apartments to meet every budget.

NIGHTLIFE

Bariloche’s nightlife abounds, whether you prefer upscale bars with live music, clubs, wine bars, or just enjoying a micro brew. Bariloche is known for some of the best restaurants in all of Argentina. Everything from the juiciest steak you have ever eaten, to perfect gnocchi and fresh trout & perch. It also has wonderful bakeries, ice cream shops, and some of the best chocolate found anywhere in the world.
