The off-piste and backcountry ski touring options here are infinite. There are wide-open bowls, chutes, canyons, couloirs, and volcano ascents/descents. This hands down has the best backcountry skiing in the Andes. Not to mention that you can climb the Volcan Nuevo and look into the smoking crater.
The resort is located in the central Volcano Region of Chile and sits below three impressive volcanic cones, all of which can be climbed and skied! Nevados provides a local vibe, wonderful Chilean hospitality, and a unique cultural experience. Soak in one of the many hot spring pools after a long day on the slopes and relax with a great meal and world-renowned wines.
